  • File a police report

    Lost property, theft with no suspect, vandalism, identity theft or fraud — report it by phone.

  • Copy of a police or accident report

    Available 1–24 business hours after the incident at the earliest. 50¢ per page.

  • Find a towed car

    Have the license plate or VIN ready when you call.

  • Pistol permit

    Applications are taken by appointment only.

  • Register a burglar alarm

    Required every year. $25; unregistered alarms are fined $99.

  • Private-duty officers

    For events and construction. 8-hour minimum, 24 hours’ notice.

  • Get property back

    Property and evidence release, weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Stray or dangerous dog

    Animal Control responds to strays, bites and animal complaints.

Fingerprinting and local background checks are done in person at 128 Retreat Ave.
